Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wp-expand-tabs-free domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. 6 Checklist Items for Securing Your Website [INFOGRAPHIC] | Advanced Internet Technologies

Back in my post in April 2014, I talked about securing one’s website. The post was well received and I figured I would turn it into an infographic which talks about the numbers that helped me generate this list. What I didn’t do in the article was talk about how important it is for AIT’s business that your website is secure. While we do have security products specifically tailored for websites, it would make me feel good if we never had to offer this product. In most cases, customers are purchasing this type of product only AFTER a problem has been experienced. So, my hope is that an ounce of education is worth a pound of cure.

Specifically, I want to point out a great FAQ for creating passwords that are easy to remember, but hard to crack. It’s very simple to do, and will help with many, many of the types of security incidents that I see customers cause each day.

Remember, if you have questions about any of our services, CALL US, or CHAT WITH US. My team is here 24/7/365 to help you determine the best way to handle any security concern or question. Good luck!
