This option will set up or change usernames and passwords that have already been created.
- Enter your SMT / cpanel
- Go to Web Services>Add>Password Protected Directories
- You will need to specify the location of the password file
- Give the username you listed in your .htaccess file.
- Finally, give a password that you want to use. You will have to enter the password twice to make sure the program gets it right.
Do this for each username you want to modify in the .htaccess file.
