As of August of 2005, AIT has released a 2.0 version of our popular webmail. This can be installed through the SMT 5.0 for Linux. This application allows more flexibility for customizations and has more features than version 1.0. To install this application for your domain, or your customer’s domain names, please follow the directions below:
- Access your SMT 5.0
- Click “Web Services” on the left hand side.
- Select “Install Webmail for Virtual Host”.
- Select the “Domain Name” from the drop down menu
- For the directory name, just input the directory that you want the webmail installed into. For example, if you want a URL of //domainname/webmail, then just input the word ‘webmail’ in the input box.
- Click “InstallPOP”.
- Webmail has been successfully configured. You will access Webmail at the following URL: //domainname/webmail/
