How do I remove a domain name from SMT 5.0?

Linux Fully Managed Accounts

To remove a domain name on your server, perform the following steps.

  • Login to your SMT
  • Click “Web Services”
  • Click “Manage”
  • Click “Manage Virtual Hosts”
  • The list of currently installed domain names is at the bottom.
  • Click “Delete” for the domain you wish to remove.

Windows Fully Managed Accounts

  • Login to your SMT
  • Login as Reseller
  • Click “Web Services”
  • Click “Manage”
  • Select “Delete Virtual Host”
  • The domain configuration will be removed from your server immediately.  The DNS will be removed within the hour.
  • This process will not remove the directory that contains the web data, nor will it remove any email accounts (POP or Aliases) that were setup.  This way, you can continue to house the necessary data for that domain you’re removing.  Only configurations are removed.
