Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wp-expand-tabs-free domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. What happens when I order a Secure Certificate (SSL)? | Advanced Internet Technologies

These are the steps for creating a secure certificate.

  • The customer submits the order to AIT using AIT’s Online Customer Care Center
  • AIT generates Certificate Signing request (CSR).
  • AIT submits CSR to the Secure Server Authority. In most instances, this is GlobalSign SSL, GeoTrust, Verisign or Thawte.
  • If the Secure Certificate Authority is GlobalSign SSL or GeoTrust, they confirm receipt of the order and sends confirmation to the Admin and Organizational email address for the domain name.
  • If the Secure Certificate Authority is Thawte or Verisign, they confirm receipt of the order and request additional documentation from the business owner to obtain the secure certificate.
  • Administrative Contact receives the email from GlobalSign SSL and confirms the order by clicking the appropriate link in the email.
  • Globalsign receives confirmation and generates the SSL Certificate. GlobalSign SSL sends the Certificate to AIT for installation.
  • AIT installs the certificate and confirms installation with the customer via email response.

After the order has been completed, customers can upload their secure web data into the following directories, based upon the OS type for their hosting account.

Linux Fully Managed Accounts:

/www/htdocs

Windows Fully Managed Accounts:
