Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wp-expand-tabs-free domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. What is an SPF record and does AIT offer them? | Advanced Internet Technologies

An SPF, or Sender Policy Framework, is a DNS record used to validate inbound e-mails to a domain by verifying they originated from an authorized entity. This authenticates messages as a measure against spammers, who can claim their messages are from servers lacking SPF.

SPF records work like an authority or access list at a security desk.  If one is authorized to send mail on behalf of the domain, then the SPF record will indicate this authorization. The particular method this entry helps prevent is known as, “email spoofing.”

You may order an SPF record from your My Account by selecting Add a Service, then Additional Plans, then SPF Record Setup / Modification.  There is a one time setup-fee of $10.00.
